Welcome to Duluth Dance Center
Duluth Dance Center (DDC) is a dance studio and school offering quality dance education with classes for students of all ages. Under the direction of Stacie Juten, students receive lessons in ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, tap, and hip hop. They have the opportunity to showcase their talent at performances and competitions throughout the year. DDC also features a dance apparel and supply store. Please browse our web site to learn more of what DDC has to offer. If you still have questions, please call or stop in. We'd love to show you what makes dance education at Duluth Dance Center a fun, friendly, and rewarding experience.
Dance training is valuable in all aspects of life. Dance lessons are a part of the dance experience. In addition to being fun, studio dance lessons help develop physical fitness, coordination, etiquette, poise, teamwork, and appreciation of performing arts. The heightened awareness of balance, rhythm, and physical capabilities that dance provides can improve performance in many other activity areas.
Our focus in dance is education through instruction in technique and stage presence. Our classes emphasize respect and discipline in a positive, fun atmosphere.
Our goal is to help our students reach their fullest potential. This comes through personal commitments and dedication from our staff and our students. If you care to know more about our philosophy in dance education at DDC, feel free to call or stop by the studio.
Performing provides not only a goal for the dancer, but an opportunity to share their experience with family and friends. The studio will participate in the Christmas City of the North Parade in November and all students will perform in our annual spring recital. Our performing & competition lines also perform in local dance shows and compete at 2-3 competitions each season.
